CQTTy-Pi3 is based on Raspberry Pi3 hardware, which is the third generation of hardware boards from and are optimized for general use.
Raspberry Pi3 hardware has been selected for CQTTy-Pi based on the low power usage, small form factor and efficient hardware and software integration and logic.
The operating system and test tools run on an SD card that has been inserted into CQTTy-Pi3 and must not be removed or tampered with.

CQTTy-Pi3 uses the Raspberry Pi3 hardware with the RASPBIAN JESSIE LITE (V4.4) operating system. The Remote Agent client software runs on the OS and manages all CQTTy-Pi3 VoIP tests.
The operating system (OS) has not been modified and any extraneous add-on software has been removed.
Certain software functionality like wireless Lan and Bluetooth have been disabled and the OS has been locked down.
The OS and test modules run from the SD card which must not be removed. Any tampering or changes to the SD card will result in the cancellation of all CQTTy-Pi3 monitoring services.
